Who Am I?
I'm a soul who wishes to do good and feel good by helping others make themselves happier and healthier through my writing and my workshops. I am a Divine soul in a human body, just like you, which means I appreciate that life can be a tricky dance partner at times.
I spent 10 years pouring my passion and energy into the education sector, until I decided to spread my wings and live my dream of helping others love and accept themselves, so that they can flourish. But I found that life can often throw up too many obstacles for this to happen - the every day stress of being human, combined with our still very potent primeval wiring (check out the Greater Good Science Center's article on the Negativity Bias) can block our ability to enjoy being ourselves, and life in general. So now I focus my energy on helping melt stress and counteract negativity through my workshops and writing.
As a survivor of 15 years of depression, I feel deep gratitude for learning my way into a happier, healthier life. I spent most of my 20s and 30s searching for a single key to life, and found to my surprise and delight that, in fact, everyone has their own unique set of keys! All we have to do is honour ourselves enough to take the time to find out what they are.
