Highest Good Wellbeing
As a survivor of 15 years of depression, I feel deep gratitude for learning my way into a happier, healthier life. I spent most of my 20s and 30s searching for a single key to life, and found, to my surprise and delight, that, in fact, everyone has their own unique set of keys! All we have to do is honour ourselves enough to take the time to find out what they are, through self-reflection, creative expression, meditation, or whatever feels good! I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to do this, and discovered that Gratitude practice is one of my keys to wellbeing. After 10 years' in the education sector, I left to spread the messages of light that have helped me lift myself out of depression, by setting up wellbeing company, Highest Good.
As a Museum of Happiness qualified Trainer, Mental Health First Aider, and with 15 years’ experience of learning my way out of depression and into mental wealth, it is my mission to share the practice of Gratitude, Self-Kindness and Kindful Meditation for flourishing wellbeing. I thrive upon helping others melt their barriers to happiness, and through my wellbeing company, Highest Good, I deliver online and in-person workshops, courses and events for a variety of audiences. These have so far included a 6 week Stress Management & Self Kindness course, International Self-Care Day and the Winter Happiness Festival with the Museum of Happiness. Alongside my workshops, I am a creative writer, poet and author of Gratitude Goldmine blog, as well as articles for Soul & Spirit magazine.
In an effort to reduce isolation for those working remotely, I have developed the Kind Co-working project in partnership with JAMI (the Jewish Association of Mental Illness), which we are currently running online.
In 2009, after a tremendous mental health breakthrough, I decided to pay forward my deep gratitude for emerging from the darkness of depression, by setting up Club Gratitude, a charitable project providing conscious and meaningful volunteering opportunities to help uplift others. I have learnt that embedding Gratitude practice in your life can truly uplift your wellbeing, and I look forward to helping many others benefit from this wisdom. In my creative, interactive and playful workshops, I share my treasury of practices and provide you with a toolkit that you can use anywhere – one that feels good for YOU.
